Arrondissements of Haiti

I changed the HASC codes for the arrondissements in the old Grand' Anse department to reflect its 2003 split.

Haiti is divided into departments, which are subdivided into arrondissements. The arrondissements are in turn subdivided into communes. The table below shows all of the arrondissements of Haiti.

Capitals have the same names as their arrondissements, except that the capital of La Gonâve is Anse-à-Galets, and the capital of Marmelade is Saint Michel de l'Attalaye.

Change history:

2003-09-04: Miragoâne and l'Anse-à-Veau arrondissements taken from Grand' Anse department to form Nippes department. Baradères arrondissement split from l'Anse-à-Veau.

Articles in lower case (l', les, etc.) may be omitted. The variants listed below may simply be common mistakes.
