I welcome any suggestions for the Statoids Website. I would especially like to see any reports of recent or future changes to the administrative subdivisions of any country that haven't yet been mentioned on this site. To suggest improvements or report dead links, e-mail me at I read English, French, Portuguese, Spanish, German, and Italian (in decreasing order of facility), and can reply in any of those languages if desired.

Note! I really appreciate your e-mails, but I have to apologize. I simply don't have enough time to answer them all. Depending on the subject matter, it takes me anywhere from 15 minutes to 15 hours to investigate and answer a single e-mail. Right now (February 2007), I have around 260 e-mails concerning the Statoids site in my inbox waiting to be answered. I promise that I have read them all. I usually answer questions promptly. But if you are contributing data or suggesting corrections to the website, I can only process your message when I get some spare time. If anyone wants to subsidize me with a $100,000 (USD) grant, I will hire an assistant for a year, and then maybe I can catch up.
